Papers of Fannie Hurst [manuscript], 1928-1965.

The collection contains two letters. One quotes from Hurst's autobiography "Anatomy of Me" and the other contains a brief autobiographical sketch on her early life and work, noting that she considers "Lummox" her best work. There is also an invitation to meet Gertrude Atherton at tea and a quotation from Marcus Aurelius in her hand.
